Here is the contact information for a couple of amazing projects happening here in Thailand. Both are often looking for volunteers, and both are very worth your time an energy. The people running these projects are personal friends of us here at the Panya Project, and we vouch for what they are doing. You will be contributing to a very worthy cause as well as have a wonderful time working on these projects:
Starting in the end of January 2009, the CPP will be getting ready for another cracker year building adventure playgrounds in the Burmese migrant schools in Mae Sot, northwestern Thailand. Using local and recycled materials we work to create play areas that encourage the imagination and get kids moving. Mae Sot is a fantastic place right on the Burmese border. A great place to spend some time, with great cheap food, markets and accomodations. We are looking for people to build, paint murals, design websites, do playground plans and invent even more fun things to do with car tires!! see our latest stuff here:
