Permaculture Teacher Training: 21st of February to 2nd of March, 2019

Advocate for Change Through Teaching Whole Systems and Passion Based Learning

In this dynamic and interactive course with a 8-days-program (classes are 22nd of February to 1st of March), we share impactful teaching techniques that promote effective communication and application of Permaculture principles and strategies to a wide variety of audiences and educational settings. Our goal is to encourage and inspire your unique strengths and abilities by demonstrating diverse teaching modalities including effective use of lecture, storytelling, class discussions, interactive experiential activities, visual aids and hands-on skills.

As a class, we create a safe setting of active learning and build confidence through preparing and co-teaching multiple presentations providing essential and experiential practice opportunities. Participants engage in social Permaculture and build strong resource networks to support one another via group projects.

The Accommodation:

The accommodation at Panya Project is kept simple. We have two dormitory buildings, as well as a number of private rooms available. Panya has open-air showers and a dry compost toilet. If you would like to reserve a private room (not fancy!) we are asking for an extra contribution of 2000 Baht per room. Either way, you will be provided with a place to sleep, mosquito net, mattress, sheets, blankets and pillow. If for some reason you would strongly prefer to be in one space or the other, please let us know, and we will try to make that happen for you.

Fresh, vegetarian food will be provided throughout the course. Special dietary needs can be accommodated within reason, but please let us know in advance.
